Hi all,

The online portion of the RFC Style Guide points to both the IESG
statement on inclusive language and the Wayback Machine copy of the NIST
guidelines:

   https://www.rfc-editor.org/styleguide/part2/#inclusive_language

The archived version of the NIST guidelines is stable and accessible,
and its contents are still valid. If the IESG identifies another
reference, the RFC Production Center can update the RFC Style Guide with
a new pointer.

The standard question that the RPC asks for all documents during AUTH48
is the following:

   Please review the "Inclusive Language" portion of the online
   Style Guide
   <https://www.rfc-editor.org/styleguide/part2/#inclusive_language>
   and let us know if any changes are needed. Updates of this nature
   typically result in more precise language, which is helpful for
   readers.

Best regards,
Jean

RFC Production Center
