@@@@ http://www.ietf.org/html.charters/poisson-charter.html - Discuss the relationship between IETF and ICANN. Should the IETF be participating in ICANN at all? If so, as part of the ICANN PSO? Under which conditions? An RFC detailing the position will be published if the WG decides that the IETF should not be part of the ICANN PSO. RFC on proposed ICANN PSO bylaws will be produced if the WG consensus is in favor of joining the PSO. Furthermore, in the latter case an RFC will be produced that describes how ICANN PSO officers (on behalf of the IETF) are to be selected. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ -----Original Message----- From: Fred Baker <fred@cisco.com> To: Jim Fleming <jfleming@anet.com> Cc: Jim Fleming <jfleming@anet.com>; zittrain@cyber.law.harvard.edu <zittrain@cyber.law.harvard.edu>; woolf@icann.org <woolf@icann.org>; tom.bliley@mail.house.gov <tom.bliley@mail.house.gov>; robert.shaw@itu.int <robert.shaw@itu.int>; randy@psg.com <randy@psg.com>; polly@wired.com <polly@wired.com>; ooblick@netpolicy.com <ooblick@netpolicy.com>; msondow@iciiu.org <msondow@iciiu.org>; mmr@darwin.ptvy.ca.us <mmr@darwin.ptvy.ca.us>; lirving@ntia.doc.gov <lirving@ntia.doc.gov>; kstubbs@corenic.org <kstubbs@corenic.org>; klensin@mail1.reston.mci.net <klensin@mail1.reston.mci.net>; kent@songbird.com <kent@songbird.com>; Karl Auerbach <karl@CaveBear.com>; KathrynKL@aol.com <KathrynKL@aol.com>; junsec@wide.ad.jp <junsec@wide.ad.jp>; John M.
