Just to be clear - China has been reclassifying existing patients and 
broadened the criteria for "Corona virus case" and related deaths.  The 
majority of the 14000 (call it ~12000 given daily recent numbers of 
about 2K new cases) are NOT new cases, but represent cases already known 
but not previously classified as CV cases.   Ditto for the deaths - call 
it ~100 deaths (given the ~100/day recent numbers) that occurred 
previously, but that are now classified as CV deaths.

In any event, one day does not represent a trend.
