From an organizational point of view, it is pretty > similar to the IETF. This is getting fairly far afield of the topic, but let me explain where I'm coming from. I did a google search for privacy statements, and came to http://labs.ripe.net/node/49. Poking around, I found http://www.ripe.net/membership/gm/gm-may2010/evoting-announcement.html, which is about RIPE NCC membership, attendees, and voting. I also found another statement that said it was from RIPE (as opposed to the RIPE NCC) and listed members, voting, and attendees, but now I'm not dredging that up. To bring matters back to the topic, the discussion was on Alissa's draft, and I was looking for comparable privacy statements to compare. My question was "is this a reasonable statement? Are there things it could have said more simply? Are there things it left out? Are there things it should not have included?"
