Hi,

I think it was all OK.

The point it made was to get rid of this stuff:

https://x.com/pikuma/status/1689959987856936960

"Here's a nickel, Kid. Go buy yourself a real computer."

I don't think anyone said anything too out of line, but there is a snotty
dismissiveness on the IETF lists sometimes.

S Moonesamy <sm+ietf@elandsys.com> writes:
"There is the following sentence in one of the templates:

'We are happy to discuss suggestions for how to convey the same
     message in an
appropriate way if you would like to discuss that.'

The intention is good. I would not use that sentence in an email
exchange with a participant who does not speak English in his/her
daily life as it could be viewed as patronizing {1}."

SM is right. That one is way too much. It should just be a much more brief
and diplomatic version, like "You're welcome to raise the concern again."

The problem is that the current template sounds like it's giving English
lessons. No one knows what language I speak, so I'm not insisting on
anything. :)

thanks,
Rob
