IMNSHO I don’t think pursuing awkward 2D MMORPG-style interaction is useful.
gather reminds me most of 1990’s PARC spin-off PlaceWare.

For moving IETF online, I’d suggest hiring some group that does it  for a living

What is the value of a test without any criteria for success?

 

 

We’re hoping to get to the stage where we can do an open test, before IETF 108 to see if is suitable to trial during the meeting.
