Disagree.  New tools and technology are not always better than old, even 
if the cost of retraining is ignored.   Generally the marketplace sorts 
those things out, which might explain some of the bias, but this does 
not happen in every sphere.

This isn't a statement about what you're developing of course, since I 
have no visibility into it.
