And *any* decision taken that way, right down to the choice to use binary
arithmetic, may be challenged and changed by the WG as a whole, and for
that matter by the IETF as a whole when it gets to Last Call. And saying
"go listen to the MP3 file" is not an answer to a technical challenge.

Nobody is arguing against efficient discussion between active designers
and authors. That's been going on since before the IETF existed. Nobody
is arguing against using new technology for such discussions, or against
making them as inclusive as possible.
