The criteria in draft-ietf-mtgvenue-iaoc-venue-selection-process
include:

"Economic, safety, and health risks associated with this Venue are
 acceptable."

That draft is approved and in the RFC Editor queue waiting for missing
references (the IASA2 drafts), so I assume and hope it's being applied by
IASA already.

Isn't that exactly why we did the mtgvenue work?

In general, it would be nice to be assured that the two approved
mtgvenue drafts are already being applied.
