Yes, and this is one of the very few times that it's worked
out for me (Alaska timezone).  So here's a thumbs-up on
randomizing hotel announcement release, in pursuit of
"fairness."

I think there's probably a more serious concern in all this,
and that's that people with mobility limitations may be closed
out of the main hotel.
