I take offense at this description of my work and demand an immediate
apology.

What I said was that I am already building a tool whose primary target
audience is outside IETF scope (confidential, end to end encrypted
interactions) but that the tool might be of interest to IETF as it builds
on existing approaches with improvements.

Of course I didn't expect the folk who can't understand what is wrong with
nroff to understand the limitations of github. In fact I notice that a lot
of engineers are unable to produce quality work precisely because they have
no aesthetic judgement. Gates did, Jobs did and now Musk does. The ability
to look at existing systems and understand why they are defective is the
first step towards replacing them with something better
