I am planning to travel by Amtrak from Detroit/Windsor to SFO.
1. VIA Rail to Windsor from Ottawa on Tuesday July 18.
Walk across bridge, stay overnight DET.
2. 6:26am Detroit to Chicago. July 19. (Wolverine)
3. 15:00ish Chicago to Emeryville, July 19, arrives July 21. Amtrak bus to SFC.

I believe that I will take the train up to Vancouver on July 28th (Friday) or
July 29th. It arrives in Vancouver just after midnight the day after, and I
will fly back to Ottawa from there.
But, I could be persuaded to take a different route, or choice of day, or
even to take the train home.

A business class seat is under $300USD going.
Roomettes are more expensive, and shared, which is why I'm posting to find
out of there are other people who might want to join on the trip. You could
be coming from Boston or NYC or Toronto or Vancouver...

Please unicast your reply.
I'd use 117attendees@, but that's not a thing yet :-)
