I quite agree. Also, I think that odd characters aren't worth time and attention, because they don't work reliably in general email addresses. Why bother writing about what won't work anyway? (Anecdote alert: I personally have even given up on + since so many web forms tell me that arnt+thatvendor@gulbrandsen.priv.no is syntactically invalid. + isn't very odd as characters go.) Arnt
