FastMail is planning to implement offline support in our own apps based on JMAP early next year.  We're evaluating which web storage technologies are going to be most robust, because we'll still be basing our own app on an embedded browser.  One of our major goals with JMAP is to be more offline-friendly than our current API.

And I'd be very happy to support any suggestions to make JMAP more offline friendly during the standardisation process.  Offline is really important to me as well.
