I think that we must be talking past eachother.

1) DHCPv6-PD x 1: home-router to ISP.
2) DHCPv6-PD x 2: stub-router to home-router.

Behind the stub-router there would be no DHCPv6-PD, just RPL or Zigbee or
Thread, or whatever.

But, no current home routers support (2), so it won't work.
