People, FYI the CCITT no longer exists. And I bet nobody will
ever recycle the acronym :-)

It is replaced by the Telecommunications Standardisation Bureau,
part of the Standardisation Sector of the restructured ITU. The
Director of the TSB is Theodore Irmer who told me today that the
old CCITT procedures have been replaced by improved TSB ones.
