Hello, I would like to get clarifications around the use of Options Template in RFC 6728. RFC 7011 permits the creation of an ipfix options template (e.g., an options template containing one or more scopes with multiple data fields - e.g., Ethernet UNI scope with data records on number of in-octets/out-octets/etc). RFC 7011 does not forbid a vendor choosing to only use options template and records. RFC 6728 has an options class that defines an options timeout. If you are only using options template, which timeout takes precedence (export interval in the permanent cache OR options class timeout)? If you are only using options template (but that options template is outside the optionstype listed in RFC6728 option type, is the options class even appropriate to use ? Regards, Marta
