Thanks Vic Lukasik Communications Technology Boeing Directory Services Job Description The position is to provide technical leadership to the Boeing company for Directory Services. Assess, evaluate, and develop new and advanced technology solutions capitalizing on Directory services to support Boeing business requirements. Support strategic planning and deployment of company wide Directory Services. Consult with users developing Cost/benefit analyses. Evaluate and integrate vendor offerings with existing company business systems. Develop and publish a company wide Directory Services deployment and email system integration strategy. Develop and deliver seminars, training, and white papers on subjects like telecommunications networks, computer software, harmonization of business practices, standardization of business data. Skills required Advanced degree in Computer Science or business Expertise and a working knowledge of X.500, and directory related IETF protocols 10 years Directory system design, analysis, and network management experience Self motivated, able to work independently, strong interpersonal communications and leadership skills. Able to communicate plans, vision, and scenarios. Willingness to explore and master new technologies Able to continually redefine personal technical and analytical skills in light of new technologies Able to understand customer requirements and translate into technical plans Strong grasp of OSI model and network models > Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Specialist Job Description The position is to provide technical leadership to the Boeing company for Electronic Data Interchange. Assess, evaluate, and develop new and advanced technology solutions capitalizing on Electronic Data Interchange to support electronic commerce and form electronic trading communities per Boeing business requirements. Consult with users developing cost/benefit analyses. Evaluate and integrate vendor offerings with existing company business systems. Develop and publish a EDI deployment strategy. Develop and deliver seminars, training, and white papers on subjects like telecommunications networks, computer software, harmonization of business practices, standardization of business data. Validate and demonstrate new solutions. Transfer this technology to the Boeing user community. Skills required Advanced degree in Computer Science or business Expertise and a working knowledge of UN/ EDIFACT and X12 transactions Email systems, Worldwide Internet usage and implications 10 years EDI system design, analysis, and network management experience Self motivated, able to work independently, strong interpersonal communications and leadership skills.
