Isn’t “S12R” 12in by 18in (2:3), while 12in by 15in (3:4) is “12R”?

As already noted, this would be “16R”.

One reference gave “22R” as 20in by 29.5in, which makes no sense.

I’ve checked some photo print services, they are offering a poster size of nominal 50cm by 75cm, but not 76cm.
