Given the number of printers, I'm not sure that would help if the lists were expanded by default. Maybe we could start with "Vendor (NNN printers)" and then expand once you click on one or enter some search text... Our options are somewhat limited given the source data and our reliance on Javascript for the presentation, but I can certainly try some things.

>     • Color coding: Utilizing background or font color variations to differentiate between manufacturers. This subtle visual cue can enhance readability.

That's a much trickier solution - how to choose the colors, how those might be perceived, issues for color blind individuals, etc.
