Dear All,

We just sumbitted two new versions, titled "Integrating the Alternate-Marking Method into In Situ Operations, Administration, and Maintenance (IOAM)" and "IOAM Trace Option Extensions for Incorporating the Alternate-Marking Method".

main changes include:
(1) In Section 4, add the benefits: by incorporating the Alternate-Marking Method into IOAM, only unique packet header encapsulation format is used for both IOAM trace monitoring and performance measurement such packet loss, latency and jitter, thus simplifing the complexity of forwarding chips.
(2) In Section 6.3, add the usage of Flow ID field in the distributed way.

Any comments and questions are welcome.

Best regard,
Xiaoming
