I have read this draft, and I believe there is value in defining a YANG model for alternate marking.

Comments / questions:
- RFC 9341 defines both single marking and double marking. Will the YANG model support both, or does it assume double marking?

[GF]: The YANG model is intended to be used for both single marking and double marking. Maybe we can add an additional flag to explicitly signal the method. 

- The node-action was a bit confusing for me. I could not figure out whether it is an enable/disable value of an enumeration defining an action. It would be worth further clarification and consistency in the document.

[GF]: I see, node-action is used to set the role and the operation of the node: action-marking/action-read/action-unmarking. I will further clarify this point in the next version and check the YANG model consistency.

- The alternate-marking-period is defined for specific periods. You may consider having something more flexible. For example, sub-second periods are probably the first to consider. Perhaps a flexible value would make sense here.

[GF]: This is a good suggestion. I would make it totally flexible.
