Hi WG,

    We presented a updated draft about in-situ flow measurement in IPv6 network. This draft considers the deployment problems of the IPv6 in-situ flow measurement based on Alternate-Marking method. A more flexible sampling period can be achieved by setting the period field of flow monitor option. Moreover, by defining bits of Ext FM Type field in the Flow Monitor Option and carrying additional information in the package, the current network state such as queue depth and interface can be obtained to locate fault point quickly.

Abstract:
   In-situ Operations, Administration, and Maintenance (OAM) need
   carrying the necessary measurement information into a packet while
   the packet transverses a path between two points in the network.
   This document describes how to deploy in-situ flow performance
