Hi Rakesh,

Thanks very much for your comments. I think you raised a very good question.
I am not sure if your mentioned *state* is the same as rfc8762.
“STAMP Session-Reflector maintains the test state, thus allowing the Session-Sender to determine directionality of loss using the combination of gaps recognized in the Session Sender Sequence Number and Sequence Number fields, respectively.”
“In the stateful mode, the Session-Reflector counts the transmitted STAMP-Test packets.”
IMO, the member link check is *not* a stateful operation by my understanding.
It seems you are suggesting a new mode, which reflector is transparent.

Best,
Tianran

Hi WG,

As a co-author, support the publication of the document.

I think as a LAG would have a number of member links, it may be cumbersome to configure each member link and hence the proposed mechanism can help in that case.

I think the document has several places with some procedure described for Reflector, but I think it would apply to stateful Reflector and not stateless Reflector.

Examples:
Section2:
Both the micro STAMP Session Sender and
Reflector MUST use SSID to correlate the Test packet to a micro
   session.

Section 3:

The micro Session Reflector can verify whether the

test packet is received from the expected member link.

thanks,

Rakesh

Hi IPPM,
During the IPPM session at IETF 116 the authors of draft-ietf-ippm-otwamp-on-lag and draft-ietf-ippm-stamp-on-lag expressed that they believe the documents are ready for WGLC.
However, since these documents were adopted quite recently we’d like to ask the WG to take some time to read them and provide feedback.

In response to this mail, please indicate whether you’ve read the document along with any feedback you might have.
