Hi List,
It has been pretty quiet here but JCS is as alive and kicking [*] as ever.

https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-rundgren-json-canonicalization-scheme-09

Major technical issues:
- Intended status: Informational
- Finally using XML V3 and be able to specify EURO as €
- Test data for the "despicable" UTF-16 sorting scheme
- ES6 number serialization note 2 example

Regards,
Anders

*]
The following fully implemented (but lab-scale) scheme uses JCS extensively:
https://cyberphone.github.io/doc/saturn/enhanced-four-corner-model.pdf
In step #3
- the Payment Request JSON object is Hashed using JCS for creating the input data to the hash function
- the result of the hashing is put in a new JSON object including some other data associated with the payment authorization like account ID
- the JSON object is Signed using  a JCS based signature scheme
- the resulting signed JSON object is subsequently Encrypted using a JCS based encryption scheme

Live "Authority Objects" also powered by JCS:
