Tim,

In your I-JSON draft you say

If an I-JSON Message is an object, it MAY self-identify by including
a member whose name is "urn:ietf:i-json" and whose value is an
object, which MUST be the first member of the top-level object.

Why MUST it be the first member? Would it cause interoperability problems if
it would be the, e.g., third member? I don't think so. So I think a SHOULD
(because it may allow certain optimizations) is probably the most we can
say.
