I haven't been following this document terribly closely, but it looks good from what I see.

A couple of nits (which may have already been discussed, pardon my ignorance):

* Shouldn't this document obsolete 4627?
* Since this document is so similar to 4627, have you considered leaving Crockford on the author list?
* Is section 1.3 intended to be in the final, published document? If so, it contains a needless amount of detail (e.g., a link to a consensus call, a note that the 'changes' section has been added, WG attribution, adding Tim as editor)
* Appendix.A is supposed to be removed by the RFC Editor, right?
