Ok, Nico’s simplification’s to the algorithm would be better. But it kind of proves my point about how it is easy to get wrong.

Which will lead to greater interoperability issues?

*) A greater chance of people implementing it CORRECTLY just because the info is there?
*) People deciding to implement it and then implementing it wrong because the info is NOT there.

Which set would be larger? I don’t know. But I’d rather err on the side of overall increased interoperability.
