Hi there all,

So it became (blindingly) clear during the meeting today that we need a use-cases type document to clearly explain what we believe the actual use cases are, what we think we can do, etc.

This discussion has already progressed nicely on-list ("Objective: Restrictive versus Supplementary Models"), but we would like to keep the momentum going, strike while the iron is hot and various similar idioms, so:

1: We are asking folk to please send any additional use cases to the list by Thursday April 7th.

2: We are starting a consensus call to add a milestone for the use-case document.
From the meeting it seems that there is likely to be strong consensus for creating this, but please provide input on list....

I would like to apologize for not realizing earlier that the group wanted this document -- it is very easy to get swept up in the "Let's fix this thing" and assuming that everyone has the same idea of what the "thing" actually is.... I thought that we had figured this out on-list right back at the beginning of time, but a: not as clearly as I thought and b: we didn't clearly capture this....

W
