This document defines the symmetric key format content type.  It is
transport independent.  The Cryptographic Message Syntax (CMS) can be used
to digitally sign, digest, authenticate, or encrypt this content
type.  [STANDARDS-TRACK]

This document is a product of the Provisioning of Symmetric Keys Working Group of the IETF.

This is now a Proposed Standard Protocol.

protocol for the Internet community,and requests discussion and suggestions
