It's been clear to some people at times, but I have yet to hear real
confirmation from the people with the use case as to whether that's true
as a whole, or as to whether *some* of the use cases for the user hint
align but others don't.

I'm only saying this because I'm on the list and I fear another long round
of hashing and thrashing to get back to the same unclear endpoint. If I'm
tired of it, I can't imagine how the principals are.
