I did forget to mention a variety of other things, one of them is:

 - The code generator will also generate marshall/unmarshall code for
   encoding function calls and results for proxying over
   sockets/doors/...

   This is necessary for the agent-like shell interface to the GSS-API.

   It's also useful for things like kgssapi/gssd interfaces.

   It's also useful for doing some privilege separation kinds of things.
   In particular it's useful for a  stackable mechanism I've in mind
   that authenticates _two_ initiator principals to a single target
   acceptor principal.

   It's also useful for GSS-API credentials forwarding ala ssh-agent
   forwarding.

Yes, I should look at my notes and produce the full list of things I've
already got code or comments for.  I left them at home :(
