Just because there aren't any struts or other loads shown on that wall on the building plans does not mean that it isn't load bearing. A lot of time, we (structural engineers) instruct a strut to be placed in one place and inexperienced laborers working for contractors take liberties as to where exactly those struts land. If the inspector doesn't check each strut at the time of the framing inspection and make them fix/move them, you could have an otherwise non-load bearing wall (per the plans) become a load bearing wall.
How do you be sure? Climb up into your attic space and make sure there are no struts landing above the wall you want to take out. It's the only way to really be sure.
