Local Ford dealers have an alarmingly high rate of 2014 inventory.

they NEED to make room for inbound delivery trucks of 2015 models.
That means you can get 2014 for a fraction of what you think.

See your local dealers stock right now.

AC blows warm air

Baby its hot outside and your AC blows warm air. Now you want to know how to fix it yourself. Its do-able, but not without some basic knowledge and some warnings. The first thing do-it-yourselfers do is run to the auto parts store and buy a recharging kit. Its very likely low on refrigerant. But, it could also be a blown fuse to the compressor clutch or a bad compressor clutch coil. So always start your diagnosis on the electrical side of the system and work your way back to the mechanical side. Heres an example. Im using a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu. But other car makers use similar systems. Click on the diagram below to open it and follow along with me. If you have an older vehicle or your vehicle is overheating, skip down to the EXCEPTIONS at the bottom of this article. After youve read this, get your hands on the diagram for your particular vehicle from either

OVERHEATING.

If your vehicle is overheating, theres no way this Malibu is going to let you run the A/C. The PCM will detect high pressure in the A/C system and will command both cooling fans to run at high speed. If that doesnt bring the pressure down to an acceptable level, the PCM will shut down the A/C. Ive shown you how the cooling fans work in this GM vehicle. But all vehicles are different. If youre sure the thermostat, water pump, and radiator are working properly, your next step is to order up a wiring diagram and system operating description from either of the two online sources below and check out the fans, relays and temperature sensors.

For more information on this repair or any others for your vehicle, buy an online subscription to either Alldatadiy.com or eautorepair.net. Click on this link to compare the two services:

Thanks.
