Well, fwiw, I'm really thankful to all the people (yourself
included) who were involved in analysis of TLS1.3 and who
are willing to put in the effort to analyse IETF protocols.
I think that was a fine model to follow any time we can
motivate people to do such analysis.

I agree. If the WG adopts edhoc then we will want to allow
for that work too.
