Of course we are not changing anything which is specified by IEEE. This is
not the point. Documents like this one, that explicitly deal with the
interface between the layers defined by the IETF and other organizations
can benefit from a review from the perspective of the other SDO. As the
IETF and IEEE 802 have a very good cooperation relationship, it's quite
routine that such documents are being sent for cross-review. Both ways.
