Debbie's descriptions look right to me -- thanks for covering these points.

I do hope that the situation described is good enough for people. I don't know how realistically things could be improved a whole lot. There are still plenty of vague spots and issues, but overall the semantics behind the coding are far more concrete and well defined than they were before.
