Stan: you cooperate with Persistent. Their small radio has two ethernets, the larger one has five. Even it is only one router connected, and other ports are for hosts, why not having the hosts have knowledge of network state? We use applications that are topology and / or available resources aware. Also, a host could run a management app which shows the dlep provided data with a GUI. I'm pretty sure it is not only me, as some of those apps are off the shelf.
