Alway good to see interest,

There was a presentation at an earlier meeting. I think since then I’ve improved the way I’ve presented it. Previously I think it appeared more as if it was presenting the pure reactive case as a realistic option (*) rather than as a motivation. At least the draft did (in -00, -01 wa improved, -02 and -03 are just keeping alive).

The previous presentation could be polished up a bit and re-presented. However, I assumed with time short as ever, this would serve a a reminder. If there’s a view to the contrary, open to doing that. Although as the agenda isn’t yet published, I don’t know if I can remotely attend or not yet. (Depends on both date and time, taking timezone into account.) But I’ve got a fee waver (I’m an independent retired person now) hoping it will be convenient.

And - from my point of view - what’ wanted now is triage. Should this be accept as WG item (of course not excluding possible later improvements), say “we’d like X done before accepting” or “thanks but no thanks”. Of course I hope for the first of these, but - still in my opinion - I think we need to decide one of those if not at the meeting (though that would be good) then not too long after. Of course in the middle case, what would X be that couldn’t be handled in the WG?

(*) It’s possible, but relies on too many unlikely cases, such as lossless messages, to fit any but rather obscure cases. There is an appendix on the possibility.
