Hi Martin,

There was text in earlier versions of the draft that suggested with LLC and IESG should include the IRTF Chair in their consultations when making a decision. This seems to have got lost, but I think it’s important to include it, both to match what happened with the COVID pandemic, and as a principle going forward. With events like the ANRW co-locating with IETF meetings there are IRTF-specific constraints and contractual issues to consider, that the IESG won’t be familiar with.

In Section 3.1, change:

The LLC will collect information about the likely impact to in-person
attendance of national travel advisories, national and corporate
travel bans, quarantine requirements, etc. and report the results to
   the IESG.

to say “…report the results to the IESG and IRTF chair”.

In Section 3.2, change “the IESG” to “the IESG and IRTF Chair” throughout, and change "working groups” to “working groups, research groups, and other co-located events” (other events to include ANRW, but also the hackathon, and other events that might be introduced over time)

Cheers,
Colin
