I am fine with using this mailing list, which at times is all too
quiet. :)

My initial thoughts regarding this new working group is that it might
lead to more of the media types in use by packages in Debian, like the
'chemical' one, to be officially registered.  See

almost complete list of MIME types listed in .desktop files in Debian.
