Hello all,

I'm Tom Hoff, and I am also one of the core developers of OpenSimulator and the other primary founder of the Idealist Viewer project. I am also the primary developer of "PrimMesher", an open source BSD style licensed c# library for meshing secondlife style prims and sculpted prims. My primary interest in this list is related to the ability to transfer descriptions of geometry and interpret it in a way which allows it to be displayed it in a consistent manner among a variety of viewer platforms. I have a cursory interest in group chat and other parts of associated protocols.

I am a seasoned software engineer with more than 2 decades of experience in software development and new product R&D. My experiences are varied but much time has been focused on color management and reproduction in printed media, image processing and digital halftoning algorithms.

I have several avatars in Second Life, but the one with the most friends and the largest inventory is a ditzy blonde who goes by the name of "Dahlia".

Best Regards,
--Tom Hoff
