For 4566bis I hope the WG could discuss this before the IETF last call
ends. It will run for another 2 week isn't it so there is time for that.

I don't have a strong view if holding up the data-channel-sdpneg doc for
a week or two while this is discussed is the right answer or not. I
think the major point here is there actual problems of using UTF-8 text
fields in SDP Attributes in the relevant deployment environments. And
for this particular document will a change create significant
interoperability issues?

I see some benefit is letting the WG provide input into this matter
before it is to late and it can be done with only minor delay in
progressing the data channel document.

I will send a separate email as IETF last call comment on 4566bis.
