[BA]  Given the steep decline in landlines=2C POTS is on the road to becomi=
ng economically non-viable by the end of the decade=2C if not sooner.   Onc=
e POTS shuts down=2C the legal and regulatory requirements which prop up th=
e use of fax will need to be re-thought.  IMHO given the bleak future of fa=
x=2C supporting it in WebRTC is not worth the effort.=20

BTW=2C support for RFC 4733 (DTMF) is now required in draft-ietf-rtcweb-aud=
io-01 instead of  RFC 4734 (Fax=2C Modem and Text Telephony) which was cite=
d (mistakenly) in -00.  =20
