Well, yes, clearly if the source is sent with a PT that isn’t in any m-line in the bundle, or with a PT that’s non-unique and isn’t in the m-line it’s currently associated with, it’s an error.

The question was whether we wanted to treat the unique PT case specially, but I can appreciate Magnus’s argument that we shouldn’t.

I’d like to hear comment from the folks who’ve been arguing in favor of PT-based mapping, though.  (I get the feeling that Magnus is agreeing to it only grudgingly.)
