Folks,

I missed noticing this Info submission entirely;
when did it appear? My apologies.

It is highly appropriate for the IESG/TSV to hold this back
as TSV is sponsoring a BOF in Stockholm to look at
this RFC1006 extension, fixes to RFC1006, and RFC1006
over IPv and other ISO transport drafts for
IPv6. The BOF chairs are in flux,
but Digital put forward the author of this spec
as a candidate. Other mentioned so far are Keith Sklower,
Steve Kille, and Peter Furniss. I will let you
know. But therefore, Joyce and Jon, it is not
sensible to have this come out yet. The BOF
is explicitly intended to review the Digital approach,
as one of its tasks.

I will contact the author. Thank you!

Allison
