Body: Abstract: This liaison statement announces the initiation of the approval process for two corrigenda and the plan to consent an amendment to an existing Recommendation on MPLS-TP.

ITU-T SG15 wishes to inform the IETF MPLS WG that we have initiated the final approval processes for the following documents at our 1-12 July 2024 closing plenary meeting:

 Corrigendum 1 to Recommendation ITU-T G.8121/Y.1381 (2018) Characteristics of MPLS- TP equipment functional blocks
 Corrigendum 2 to Recommendation ITU-T G.8121.1/Y.1381.1 (2018) Characteristics of MPLS-TP equipment functional blocks supporting ITU-T G.8113.1/Y.1372.1 OAM mechanisms

These corrigenda address inadvertent inconsistencies that were first identified in, and agreed to be addressed based on a contribution to this meeting.

Additionally, it is our intent to initiate the approval process for draft Amendment 2 to Recommendation ITU-T G.8121/Y.1381 (2018) Characteristics of MPLS-TP equipment functional blocks at our 17-28 March 2025 plenary meeting. This amendment specifies management information signals for reporting the state of linear and ring protection processes to equipment management functionality.

This draft and the consented corrigenda are attached.

ITU-T Q10/15 will next meet 17-28 March 2025.

Attachments: TD404/PLEN, TD405/PLEN, and TD374/WP3.
