Dear MPLS WG chairs,

During the last IETF meeting in Beijing the latest version of the "Seamless MPLS" draft was presented:

https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-leymann-mpls-seamless-mpls/
http://www.ietf.org/proceedings/79/slides/mpls-16.ppt

This version addresses several comments received from the community (mainly by private information exchange). Authors include vendors and service providers; implementations are available. We also received feedback that the interest in the Seamless MPLS architecture is high and that several ISPs are starting with the deployment of end-to-end MPLS solutions taking access and aggregation into account.

Therefore we think that the draft is ready for working group adoption and we would like to ask the WG chairs to consider a call for WG adoption.

Kind regards

    Nic
