Hello All,

Please find below some comments on this draft. I hope it helps address
the ongoing discussion during the WGLC and to make progress.

1) For the various fields of the FEC (e.g., originator, discriminator,
color, endpoint, etc.), please avoid repeating/reproducing text from
RFC9256 - simply referencing the specific section should be
sufficient.

2) Regarding "Protocol Origin", the table in RFC9256 section 2.3 is
NOT providing the codepoints for protocol origin. Please read the
entire section that says those are the recommended default values -
not codepoints. For codepoints, reference
https://www.ietf.org/archive/id/draft-ietf-pce-segment-routing-policy-cp-18.html#section-6.5
- the IANA registry is yet to be created and will be shared across
protocols. The same should be used by LSP ping as well. This requires
a normative reference to this PCEP draft.

I hope this allows for removing some of the references that are
perhaps not necessary for the document to progress further.

Also, there is no need to gate this work on anything from IDR WG since
that dependency is not necessary.

Thanks,
Ketan
