Hi, In order to facilitate interoperability testing of early implementations of draft-ietf-mpls-tp-fault, the WG chairs applied to IANA for an early code point allocation of the ACH type value for Fault OAM. The IESG recently approved this early allocation per RFC 4020, and the note below shows the resulting allocation. Thanks, Adrian ----- Original Message ----- From: "Amanda Baber via RT" <iana-prot-param@iana.org> To: <Adrian.Farrel@huawei.com> Sent: Friday, July 16, 2010 10:33 PM Subject: [IANA #351929] Request for Early Allocation for an ACH Code Point for Fault OAM > Hi all, > > We've assigned the following Pseudowire Associated Channel Type: > > Value Description TLV Follows Reference > ------ ------------------------------ ----------- --------- > 0x0058 Fault OAM (TEMPORARY - expires 2011-07-16) No > [draft-ietf-mpls-tp-fault] > > Please see > http://www.iana.org/assignments/pwe3-parameters > > We'll remove the "TEMPORARY" designation after the IESG approves the > document for publication. > > Best regards, > > Amanda Baber > IANA
